Profeta’s Safety Training Day & Respirator Fit Test

Last week at Profeta Painting, we reinforced our unwavering commitment to safety and our team by hosting a comprehensive Safety Training seminar. This event was not just a routine gathering; it was an afternoon filled with learning, engagement, testing, and of course, delicious treats!

Our dedicated employees gathered to review and discuss both internal safety protocols and industry-wide best practices. We went through a thorough safety knowledge review, instructions on the proper use of PPE (personal protection equipment), health evaluations, a respiratory fit test, and more. A ”fit test” is a yearly test that is crucial for our employees as it ensures the seal between the respirator’s facepiece and the wearer’s face is secure. This test, which takes about fifteen to twenty minutes, is performed annually to confirm that our team’s equipment meets the highest safety standards.

In addition to the critical safety training, the day was also about strengthening relationships. With pizza and cookies provided by Savoia’s Pastry Shoppe, the team got to enjoy chatting with one another over lunch. At the conclusion of the training, our employees were happy to be able to head home early and get a jumpstart on the weekend!
